Employee Spotlight: Mark Ingle, Plant Maintenance Director

The NorthPointe Woods Leadership team has proven experience and a solid commitment to helping seniors find residential solutions that enable them to live life to the fullest. Each week in August and September, we are introducing a different team member whose leadership, dedication and welcoming presence help make NorthPointe Woods an exceptional choice for independent senior living or assisted living.

Mark engages in best practices to keep our operations, including facilities management and emergency preparedness, conducted at the highest level. Testing and troubleshooting fire systems, generators, and other mechanical systems/equipment, plus overseeing repairs in common areas and apartments are just a few of the key tasks on his priority list. With more than 30 years’ experience in construction and trade management as well as plant maintenance at NorthPointe Woods, Mark is uniquely qualified to effectively serve the community and residents.

Each week in August and September, we are introducing a different team member whose leadership, dedication and welcoming presence help make NorthPointe Woods an exceptional choice for independent senior living or assisted living.

Lorene wears a few important hats. She has over 34 years of human resources experience and is charged with making sure NorthPointe Woods is staffed with employees who love the senior living environment and are passionate about working with residents. She is also the Business Office Manager, handling all the administrative functions for residents and the community. When asked how she feels about her role at the community, she said, “Working within senior living has been the most rewarding and humbling profession I have experienced.”

Each week in August and September, we are introducing a different team member whose leadership, dedication and welcoming presence help make NorthPointe Woods an exceptional choice for independent senior living or assisted living.

Planning a calendar of events and activities that targets mind, body and soul— while appealing to a population of seniors with diverse interests—can be a challenge. But Kristen loves the opportunity and has demonstrated a passion for the task from day-one, when she joined NorthPointe Woods in 2013 as Life Enrichment Assistant. She was promoted to Director of Life Enrichment in 2016 and continues to successfully keep residents engaged through life-enriching activities and events, as well as meeting the transportation needs of residents.
